Hi Andy. Your condition could be worsening which is why you are feeling more intense symptoms. These symptoms will continue until the condition is properly treated and managed. It may require a combination of medication and possibly even surgery. You need to speak to your gynecologist about your treatment options.

I usually feel this minor discomfort in my lower left abdomen. This time, however – I am suffering from an extreme burning pain in my lower left abdomen, which has been steadily building for the past 2 weeks. I am currently menstruating, so some of these other symptoms might be related to that, but I am feeling more fatigued and nauseous in addition to the pain. Any ideas?
