Hi Roy. There is a possibility that your current symptoms are linked to some other condition that is not related to your previous colon condition and the FAP specifically. It may also be unrelated to the surgery. While some of your symptoms could be attributed to endocrine diseases and even nerve disorders, there is also the possibility that this could be due to a heart condition. As you can see there are many possibilities and it is difficult to say for sure. You should speak to your family doctor and based on his/her findings, you may have to follow up with a specialist liek a cardiologist. Your doctor will advise you accordingly.

2013 I had a total colectomy with Ileorectal Anastamosis due to a medical condition called Familial adenomatous polyposis coli, since then i have bile salt malabsorbtion, suffer bouts of anaemia, very loud rumbling. /growling noises coming from bowel within a minute or two of eating, I don't eat any raw vegetables, or al - dente, must be well cooked. Don't eat apples, pears, in fact all I eat are bananas or tinned fruit. After eating or during eating I get a feeling of being bloated and feel clammy or start sweating , and at times just looking at the food makes me feel nauseous and end up putting my food in the bin. I scratch my head, puzzled as to what is going on and why am I having these problems. One other thing I constantly suffer with is constant sweating, I only have to put a t-shirt on and a thin jumper, we within 5 minutes I have to change clothes (after having a wash), this can happen between 3 and 5 times a day. All this and still I have no answers.
