Hi Vijay. The burning is most likely due to anal fissures or hemorrhoids (piles) which often arises with constipation. The hard, dry and at times large stool that arises in constipation may be injuring the rectum and anus. Treat the constipation and the burning may be avoided. There are several articles on how to relieve constipation. A high fiber diet and high intake of fluids are the two main dietary approaches to managing constipation. hi , i have a similar issue as im suffering from constipation and due to that my anus is burning after every bowel movement ,for that he gave me anovate but it is not curing permanently, plz help me out suggest any food or drink to take before or after bowel movement

Hi John. Anal fissures are common and heal quickly. Although you have found relief, it may be a good idea to assess what causes these fissures in order to prevent it in the future.

Hi Thoyyib. The burning sensation is just a symptom of some problem. You need to identify the cause of this burning and this would most likely need to be assessed by a doctor. A common cause is hemorrhoids and sometimes it may be irritated by certain foods. SImilarly sitting for long periods, take a long time on the toilet and so on will also aggravate it. We do not recommend a treatment for any condition as this has to be done by your doctor. Furthermore it is difficult to say what may help considering that you do not know the exact cause of this burning sensation as yet.

Hi Asad. We cannot diagnose you but it does sound a lot like hemorrhoids. There doesn’t have to be bleeding for it to be hemorrhoids and it is important for you to consult with a doctor who can examine the area further. There is no reason to focus on rectal cancer just yet. While it can be a possibility, it is uncommon in people of your age.So do not worry too much until a doctor does further tests and then confirms the diagnosis. You may need further investigations like a colonoscopy and this may mean that you need to see a gastroenterologist. Your doctor will advise your accordingly.
