Hi Emma. Pain on its own is difficult to diagnose without further investigation. In this case blood tests alone would not suffice. It would be advisable to undergo imaging studies like an abdominal ultrasound. There are so many possible causes of these symptoms. Gallstones and related gallbladder problems are one possibility. Speak to your doctor again or see a medical specialist like a gastroenterologist or internist. Sometimes this can just be trapped gas but it is always better to be safe than sorry and have it investigated thoroughly.
