Hi Chuck. We cannot say for certain because each case should be assessed by a medical professional. Furthermore it depends on what caused this hair loss. However, given the period of time that has passed (3 years), it seems unlikely that the hair will regrow. Speak to your doctor to be sure.

My left big toe now has a burning/crawling feeling on the tip damn annoying. I been to a doctor he said i don’t know why you’re having this problem O.o. Maybe its all due to dry skin… maybe wtf. I have never heard dry skin doing this. My mother has bad dry skin and she don’t have such a problem. He done a blood test and everything he said came back fine not diabetic according to him. So what is the cause of the problem? Dry skin diagnosis does not help ease my mind since it’s getting worse and he wasn’t sure himself as he said maybe. A doctor should not guess because that’s how lawsuits happen. I am about to switch doctors and get a second opinion, because am not satisfied with him and his current diagnosis telling me to come back if it gets worse. It sounds like hes not trying to be a doctor and get down to the cause of my problem. This is worrying me because I know there is something more going on than just dry skin. I hope it’s not Peripheral artery disease (P.A.D.). I’ll mention it during my second opinion and see what they say maybe they will do further testing since my previous doctor didn’t help.

Hi Ghada. Hair loss can occur for many reasons. What you are describing may be patchy hair loss. There is no guarantee that the circulation to the legs is normal even though the person is training. You would also need to consider hormonal factors,skin infections and even mechanical factors. This is best assessed by a doctor who may need to consider further tests.
