Hi ChrisCan

Most likely related to the catheter but its difficult to say through an online platform like this. If the discomfort was more prominent upon other activity (unrelate dto arm movement) and accompanied by shortness of breath, leg swelling, dizziness and so on, then heart disease is very likely. Nevertheless the typical symptoms one would expect may not always be present. Speak to your doctor about it just to be sure.

I had a PICC line removed in March 2010 after post chemo. Removal went well (I thought). Lately I've been getting a 'sensation' - in the part of my upper right chest where the PICC line was. I would have to classify it more of a discomfort rather than a pain. It seems to happen mostly during and after lifting, pushing or pulling with the right arm and less often when at rest. Some dull achy pain in upper right arm (outer - below shoulder joint. The two do not always occur at the same time.

Maybe no big deal but I thought I would ask.
