In reply to Sandra. Hi Sandra You are correct. Unfortunately in many countries there is a little focus on good hygiene as a means of preventing unnecessary infections. In the HIV positive patient, practicing good hygiene could be a life and death issue at times.

Since HIV infected people are more prone to diseases due to the deficiency of immune in their body they are more likely to get affected by this kind of diseases.
Maintaining a healthy environment and not getting contaminated is the only way of getting away from it.

In reply to James Baisden. Hi JamesBaisden You have chronic diarrhea and most of the time this is watery in nature. Rarely is it bloody. So you can tell your doctor that you have watery diarrhea and he will do the necessary investigations and prescribe the relevant treatment.
