Hi Jen. That is an unusual description of a symptom and it could be related to the bladder which is located in this region. However, it is difficult to say for sure. You may want to mention it to your doctor. Maybe a simple urine dipstick test can be performed to see if there is any infection, a common bladder problems. This may be nothing to worry about but rather get a medical opinion in person.

My problem is weird...it's been going on for a long time but I have never brought it up. Sometimes when I pee, I get this itchy feeling inside my stomach around my belly button. The itch feels like it's on the inside. It almost feels like a cross between itchy and chills. That's the only thing that happens. I have no idea what it is. It doesn't happen every time I pee. Any clue about this?
Thank you.

In reply to <a href="https://healthhype.com/itching-urination-after-urinating-no-pain-or-skin-rash.html#comment-89792">steve mitchell</a>.

Hi Steve. You need to see your family doctor and in all likelihood see a medical specialist who focuses on the urinary system (these specialists are called urologists). There is no way for us to say what may be wrong in your case and tell you what you should take.

It is possible that this is arising from prostate problems (assuming that you are male and given the age you mention). It is common for the prostate to become enlarged at this stage in life and increases the chances of urinary tract infections, prostate infections and so on. Speak to your doctor and he/she will be able to advise you further.
