Hi Lou. From the very limited information provided it is difficult to say with any certainty as to what is happening in your Dad&#039;s case. Pain and an elevated WCC is not unusual although it depends on the time period as well. Anything we may put forward would be a guess at best but it is concerning that the doctors are confused as you say. There is obviously more to the case than you have mentioned so it would be best to discuss your concerns (or that of your Dad) with the doctor(s) directly. Our advice could be misleading.]]></description>
