Hi Rootin. This is a medical insurance issue and you need to discuss it with your insurer. Your doctor's input will also be important. We only provide health guidance on this platform. Good luck!

My Insurance company has just decided they will stop paying for a large portion of my pain medication. (60 mg MS Contin 3 X a Day to only 90 mg total) pluss I take 30 mg IR 4X a day) I truly believe this is a monetary decision on their part. I suffer from back and neck pain, as do millions of Americans. I am disabled. I walk with a cane, I can't stand in the kitchen long enough to fry an egg.
Along with everything else, I also have neuritis caused by a procedure that went poorly called Radio Frequency. This is when they stick needles into the nerves (my facets) and then electrocute them. As explained to me, a constant pain signal is being sent to my brain. The nightmare procedure also left me with PTSD .I have been in tratment for that over 6 years now.

Can they do this? My Dr's office wrote a letter to challenge this, but it was upheld.
How can they decide what I need for pain without seeing me? They said they won't pay unless I have cancer or I am dying. Without pain meds to the level needed I might as well be dead. I will have no quality of life.

By the way, they do not want to pay for spinal or facet injections either.
