It is almost impossible to answer that. Many of those who quit report that the withdrawal symptoms ease within 10 to 21 days. But the urge for a cigarette is another matter altogether. It can even take years. Some heavy smokers say they never get over the urge to smoke although they do not actually have physical signs and symptoms. So it varies from person to person. Quitting &#039;cold turkey&#039; can be tough and the first few weeks are the most difficult.]]></description>
