Hi Greyghost

Yes, it is a possibility. When gastric motility and emptying is impaired due to nerve damage or other causes like an obstruction, nausea is a common symptom. You definitely need to consult with a gastroenterologist who may have to conduct further investigation before give you a definite answer.
On 9/01/10, i had a hiatial hernia repair and a 270 degree stomach wrap around my esophages. it has been 42 days since the surgery, and i am not able to eat soft foods, without them wanting to come back up. My doctor has told me today, that this might be a cause of nerve damage inside my stomach from this wrap. IS this possible? food goes down ok, but once inside the stomach, it makes me want to vomit. Can anyone explain as to why? I am to see a GI doctor real soon for more answers on this. Thanks
